To upgrade, go to Billing > Services, select your hosting subscription and click Upgrade/Downgrade. You pay only the prorated difference for the rest of the billing cycle, and your sites and data are not touched.

When to Upgrade

Consider upgrading when you notice increased traffic, need more storage, want additional features like staging environments, or need to host more websites.

How to Upgrade

  1. Log in to your HostBarrel dashboard
  2. Go to Billing > Services
  3. Select the hosting subscription you want to upgrade
  4. Click Upgrade/Downgrade
  5. Choose your new plan and confirm

Pricing

When upgrading, you'll only pay the prorated difference for the remainder of your current billing cycle. No double-charging.

What Happens to My Data?

Your websites, files, databases, and settings remain exactly as they are. Upgrades only add more resources - nothing is removed or changed.

Downgrading

You can also downgrade to a lower plan, provided your current usage fits within the lower plan's limits. Contact support if you need help.
