Free website for law firms
People choosing a lawyer want to know what the firm handles and who they will be dealing with. We design and build your firm's website at no charge, around exactly that.
What we put on a law firm website
A law firm's website should be plain and easy to trust. This is what we usually build.
- Practice areas, each with a short description
- Profiles of your lawyers, with the photos and credentials you send us
- A page about the firm
- Office address, a map and opening hours
- A contact page with your phone number and an enquiry form
What is free, and what is not
The design, the build and up to five rounds of revisions of one static website of up to five pages are free. You send the logo, text and photos, and we lay them out.
Client portals, document uploads behind a login and online payment of fees are software, so they are custom development and we quote them separately.
The website runs on a paid HostBarrel hosting plan. The full conditions are in the Free Website Offer section of our Terms of Service.
How it works
Tell us about your business
Fill in a short form or have a call with us, and send your logo, text and photos.
We design and build it
Our web team starts from a design made for your kind of business and makes it yours.
You review it on the page
You check the site on a private preview address and ask for changes, up to five rounds.
You approve it and it goes live
Once you are happy with it, the site goes live on your own domain.
Questions from law firms
The free website has up to five pages, so the practice areas usually share one page with a section each. A separate page per practice area beyond the five is custom work that we quote first.
No. You send the text and photos, and we lay them out and tidy the wording. That also keeps every statement about your firm in your own hands.
The free website has a contact form for enquiries. A secure client portal or document upload behind a login is custom development, which we quote before any work starts.
Yes. You can use a domain you already own, or buy one through us whenever you are ready. Domain fees are separate from the free website. Until then the website is reachable on a free HostBarrel address.
