How it works

Choose a plan and ask for the transfer
Pick a HostBarrel hosting plan, then open a transfer request. We ask for your current host's login details through your support ticket.
We copy and check the site
We take a backup, copy your files and databases to our servers, and open every page and form to check them. Your current site stays online.
You look, then switch
We send you a preview link. When you are happy, you point your domain to HostBarrel, or we do it with you. The switch itself takes minutes.
What we move
Everything your website is made of, as it is. We do not change your current host's setup, so if anything is not right on our side, your old site is still there.
Before we start we take a full backup of the site. If something goes wrong, we put it back from that backup.

The domain the site answers on, so we know what to copy and what to check afterwards.
A HostBarrel hosting plan
The transfer is part of the plan. There is no separate charge for it.
Your login details are handled securely and deleted once the transfer is done.
Questions about the transfer
The ones we are asked most. If yours is not here, ask the team directly.
Most transfers are done within 24 to 48 hours. A large site with big databases can take up to 72 hours. We keep you posted in your ticket.
