Installing a Control Panel on Your VPS
To add a control panel to your VPS, connect over SSH to a fresh server and run the installer for a free panel such as CyberPanel or HestiaCP. Install the panel before anything else, because it conflicts with web servers you set up by hand.
Why Use a Control Panel?
A control panel provides a graphical interface for managing your server - creating websites, databases, email accounts, and SSL certificates without using the command line for every task.
Option 1: CyberPanel (Recommended)
CyberPanel is free, lightweight, and uses OpenLiteSpeed for excellent performance:
sh <(curl https://cyberpanel.net/install.sh || wget -O - https://cyberpanel.net/install.sh)
Follow the interactive installer prompts. Access the panel at https://your-ip:8090.
Option 2: HestiaCP
HestiaCP is a fork of VestaCP with active development and improved security:
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/hestiacp/hestiacp/release/install/hst-install.sh
bash hst-install.sh
Minimum Requirements
Most control panels require at least 1 GB RAM and 10 GB disk space. Our VPS Standard plan and above meet these requirements - compare them on the VPS hosting page.
Important Note
Control panels should be installed on a fresh server - don't install them on a VPS that already has manually configured web servers, as there will be conflicts. If you need a control panel, install it first before setting up anything else.
